My dear Sir


        By what accident
my Letter to you has miscarried I can
not at all gueƒs but I certainly wrote
to you in answer to your Favor Respecting
your Dedication on the 24th instant.
        I Continue intirely to
Approve of your original intention
of Dedicating your work to the three
who have Countenanced it I do not
know that a more Proper use Could
be made of a Dedication of a work
like yours.
