and dearly I love thee. Heaven guard and protect

    I have written to Mr Tyler, but beg him again
and thy good mother to accept my respectful love.
I should like to pull Belle by the hair, or lash her
arms together a little more; and then give her a
hearty kiƒs afterwards; but at this distance there
is no doing these things; I can only ask her to accept
my best love and remembrance.
