Point the Node of India has been of Late so Severely
impaired by veƒsels from the Isle of France that I am
told vigorous measures are to be adopted for Seizing
the Island, if this succeeds & if it is Blesd [sic] with
wisdom & executed with Spirit it must succeed, we
may have the happineƒs of seeing the gallant
Capt Flinders before we expect him
